Ramadhan is here..

Alamak Alhamdulillah Ramadhan is here.. another month of blessings.
My puasa ganti for this year was 30+ days sebulan tak puasa after deliver Irfan on Ramadhan last 2 years plus pindah on Ramadhan last year
Nasib la dah bayar awal2 so I didnt have any problem to prepare for the holy month

My checklist azam for this Ramadhan:
1. Solat Terawikh
2. Bayar long overdue Zakat before raya
3. Gamba Raya to Utusan
4. Baju Raya almost there, Zuhri and Irfan dah ade
5. Kuih Raya tengok la kalau rajin, my first attempt la kot usually order from Gem je
6. Menu Raya akan dipikirkan dgn Wichita crew
7. Nak Raya mana? KC ke Wichita tak tau lagi. Ni kes dilemma raya nak balik kg ke tak
8. Irfan burfday party and openhouse Since Irfan's bday is going to be on 2nd Syawal so ingat nak sekalikan jela
9. Cari keje
10. Kemas and deco rumah before raya
11. Spend time with my boys ahahaha ni dah tak macam azam Ramadhan

Betul ke ni azam Ramadhan. Most of the stuff on the list is for Raya uhuks.

Ok tukar topic. This is something that I made for Irfan last week. It's like burritos or quesadillas. Ala sume Mexican food sama je kan just nama je lain2. Irfan loved it so much, and so did the dada. Nak buat pun senang:
1. Tortillas the Mexican bread yg ala2 capati
2. Grilled steak cut into cubes
3. Shredded cheese
4. Tomatoes cut into cubes
5. A1 steak sauce
Nak add sour cream, avocardo, beans etc silakan. I didnt have all the bahan so I just used the five ingedients.Oh and kena roll ye before you serve it. I didn't have the pic yg dah roll.Google kalau tak tau mcm mana rupanye.

Sgt yummylicios. Made me drool bile teringat. Senang dah ade satu resepi for picky eater-Irfan.

A Week with Feyruz

A few days after we brought Feyruz home, he looked a bit yellowish than usual. I called our baby doctor, had Feyruz' blood test done, and found out that his jaundice level was on the higher range. But the doctor wasn't that worry, and she told me to keep feeding him and put him under the sun in the morning for 10-15 mins every day.

He looks darker now. More like anak Melayu :)

On day 5, Mak Amin bathed Feyruz. Actually more like wiped his body from head to toes.
On day 7, Amin and adik2 went to a Muslim farm for akikah.

The two goats for Feyruz.

The owner of the farm performed the akikah.

The akikah meat ready to be distributed.

That night we had a family gathering with Janet, Zuhri & Irfan.


The next day, Amin and Wasil digged a hole to bury Feyruz' placenta.

Birth Announcement

Introducing the birth of our son, Feyruz Muhaimin Bin Muhammad Amin on 07/31/2010 at 5:52 AM Central Standard Time. He weighs 6 lbs 10 oz (3 kg) and 19.5 inches (49.5 cm) tall.

A few minutes after he was out of the womb. He opened his eyes and cried for a while.. so cute :)

Amin made azan to the baby.

Then the nurse cleaned him up and put him under the warmer.

He did this a few hours after he was born.

Amin showed his skills wraping the baby :)

Ok ok I really don't want to steal Gem's thunder by writing a lengthy entry about the labor, but I just want you guys in Msia to have a glimpse of the day... the day Feyruz Muhaimin was born.

The day I became an aunt (again)

Gem tak nampak mcm org baru beranak at all! 2 hours of labor only?!! patut le kan aku dulu 20 hrs labor. Baby Feyruz sgt comel

Gotcha! This is a bukti utk mak tgk. Gem makan mee udang on her 1st pantang day! Tak tau la gatal ke tak.. huahau og dah remind tapi dia tak nak dgr.. huahua caught in the act.

Irfan is a big bro now

Baby Feyruz tembam. Looks like gem when he shuts his eyes, and a looks a bit like Amin when the eyes are wide open (tgk from gamba jela sebab time kitaorg dtg dia tak pernah bukak mata) 

Oh I think I miss Feyruz already... he's just one sweet lil baby
