Feyruz around 3 months old

Third time his eczema got worse..


We went to see a dermatologist at Children Mercy Hospital. The doctor said that his condition is totally because of eczema and nothing to do with food allergy. She prescribed Feyruz with steroid ointment/oil to put around the affected area, and to make a wet wrap when he sleeps at night which can help moisturize and soothe his skin.

The wet wrap: put Feyruz on a warm, wet sleeper (overall) and then covers him with another layer of dry sleeper. Then wrap him with a blanket. For the face, put a damp washcloth around the affected area.

First time we put him in a wet wrap. He slept really well that night for 5-6 hours.

After a few days, his skin got much better than before.

During Eid prayer :) Feyruz was soo sleepy

Alhamdulillah Feyruz' condition improves tremendously since we saw the dermatologist. He still has eczema patches here and there, but not as severe as before. And he just started laughing today! So sweett :)
