Going on a jet plane

Boston, MA

In less than 72 hrs we'll be leaving on a jet plane to Boston, MA. That's where you can find Harvard University, MIT .. the Geek City I guess heheh. We will be staying there for a day, then making our way to Washington D.C, and the final stop is New York City. Well actually the final stop is Boston again since we'll be flying off from the same airport. All the cities are within 8 hrs driving radius. Not too bad.

The reason we are going is so that we can renew our Malaysian Passport. So we have to drag ourselves to NYC! This would be my second time to NYC, my first time there was 5 years ago with meng and my parents. Good ol days. Hummm I miss them so much. I'm pretty sure I'll feel sebak at NYC nanti because it'll remind me of the fun trip that we had years ago. Kan meng kan? Naik subway la paling lawak.. meng was so good at reading the map and leading the way. Hahhaha the only thing that meng is good at. I'd say kalau meng takde time tu, we could have been lost hahaha. And the nightlife was soooo happening. I didn't think my parents had much fun at NYC, hahaha.. we did a lot of walking so they were too tired.

 Anyway.. enough of old memories. 

Irfan is so excited about the trip. He's been talking about it- going on airplane, New York etc. As for the parents, all that we can think about is - this trip could do a serious damage to the wallet. Yikes.
And belum sempat ape2 lagi I've screwed up the budget. Last night I found out that I accidentally double booked our hotel at KC- one at Hilton and another one at Days Inn. Both for the same night. Crap!
The thing is, I tried to reserve a room using this bidding thingy- so that I could get a great deal on some high class hotel (konon nye la!), I was pretty sure that I didn't win it. So malas nak pikir2 bid2 ni, I just went ahead and reserve a room at Expedia.com (Days Inn). And last night while I was trying to get all the hotel info together,  I noticed that I've won the bid at priceline and they've made the reservation at Hilton! And that costs me $65. When the heck did I win the bid. The thing about priceline ni, they didn't email a single thing pun kalau menang ke ape. Both reservation are non refundable. I'm so effing pissed off la. There goes my $$ for some souvenirs or clothing perhaps. I feel like punching myself in the face. Why la bad things always happen to pretty people. Euuuurrrggghhhh....!!

Ok I don't want this to ruin the trip. Please pray for our safety and doakan kami selamat pergi and kembali. I'll try to update this blog while on the road. If only... I have an iphone or ipad.. hahah. *berangan*
