As a mother of a young and active toddler I sometimes ran out of ideas when it comes to keeping Irfan occupied. It's really intimidating to see him so smart and eager to learn, but I have nothing to offer. So, that's when I started to google and plan for his daily activities.
One of the best toys/ activities at the moment is Play Doh!! It can keep him occupied for hours and hours, but sometimes he needs mommmy's help to mold, cut etc. He loves to roll, squeeze, smack, gentel-gentel and even step on the playdoh.. which are good activities for his motor/movement development. And I teach colors, type of animals, big-small opposites etc using this method too. The thing that I like about playdoh is that it's cheap for toy with multiple functions and promotes free play.
Definitely an 'A' toy for this age. The one in the pic is Play Doh Big Barrel for $13.
