Anniversary Weekends

We went to Olathe KS to watch the Dark Knight with IMAX last Saturday. It was a long long trip because of multiple road constructions on the way to Kansas. Haiyaaa.. so we took the back road most of the time, and we were just in time!


Anyway, the movie was great. But while watching the movie I kept thinking about the now-dead Joker & how dark the storyline was (urgghh..) And about the IMAX thing, only some scenes were in IMAX. Those that required computer generated images were in the usual movie format. So basically, I didn't really feel that much different, IMAX or no IMAX. Fortunately we only paid $6 per ticket (not the usual price $14), so no big deal.

After that, we went to the Ethnic Festival at the Swope Park. This year event was much much better than last year because now we know these people who organized the event.
