Geng Makan Satay

We had satay for dinner last Sunday night. I have been craving to eat satay since last week actually. Yosh! Finally got some  

I prepared the satay while Amin & Feyruz grilled them. Well more like Amin had to guard the satay from Feyruz touching them while it was cooking haha.

Feyruz shouldn’t eat the chicken satay, but he wanted to. So lets him have it! His first satay  

P/S: Feyruz is 18 months old today. Sweet 18 months!

Feyruz in Action

So here’s the story. After we saw the dietician & nurse at the Growth Clinic, Feyruz was prescribed with high calories soy drink & some supplements. We gave him 2 cans of the soy drink, and then he got rashes all over his body again. So now we concluded that he’s allergic to soy.

Then, the dietician wanted him to try a special energy drink that have all the carb, protein, vitamins & minerals. So far Feyruz doesn’t show any reaction to the drink. So if he stays with this new diet, then we should see some improvement soon

We are also trying to improve his meal, from eating simple cereal & chips to something that is more variety. Like having dips or sauce or jam on the food. It is hard because he is quite reluctant to try new food. So yesterday for breakfast, we try a different strategy, trying to associate new food with something he’s familiar with. Amin showed him to dip his KIX in the blackberry jam. He did it pretty slow and took a long time to finish the cereal. But he finished it anyways! Great!

Yeay

I got an A for my CATIA class too. Yippie! Apparently there were some errors in the grading and it turned out my final grade is an A afterall. Hah I knew it! It was nearly impossible for me not to get an A. My score was almost perfect for everything other than the final. And I think the final wasn't too bad. I deserve the A, chewahh..

Alhamdulillah penat lelah hantar irfan ke school pagi2, mengamuk2 si kenit tu tak nak pegi school, dapat la A jugak. Bravo to myself. Poyo tak.
I've never been this happy for years.

im back!

assalamualaikum,
im back! tonigh i dont feel like studying..hehe so jz wanna share photo's taken in my college area..haha nak show off swimmng pool jer sbnyer.. =P





the swimming pool is quite big....but it is too open and no privacy at all..so usually girls prefer to go swimmng after magrib, so no one can actually recognize u in dark + no ppl going there at night..at the left side of swimming pool there is squash court while on right side there is sauna room + gymnasium(not in the picture). these are some of the facilities available in the college...haha of course there are alot more..but i ony hv this pic =P..

Im now posted in orthopedic department for 8 weeks (2 months).what is orthopedic?Orthopedics is the study of the musculoskeletal system, which includes: bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves. I will be posted in muar for the 1st 4 weeks while the remaining 4 weeks will be posted in melaka hospital.. as usual, posting in muar is very tiring...pheww back to orthopedic, im still not sure yet whether i like this subject or not,but so far, ths subject is one of the most relaxing subject....o-O but the only thing is tht some serious cases especially from road traffic accident sgt ngeri...waaa u can see fresh muscle with blood oozing..iyyerr i can feel the pain.=! ade jugak case 20 year old male with motor vehicle accident yg kne potong kaki sbb kaki da hancur n x dpt nak selamatkn..huhu pity of him, n thinking about his future, haihzz mcm mane laa umo masih muda lagi..looking at those cases, i have made a resolution tht after ths i wanna drive carefully and slowly on the road.."biar lambat aslkan selamat"

Some Highlights of 2011

We officially moved to our new house on the day before Thanksgiving. Ayah and Luqman came to help us out. The next four days were hectic. Feyruz were so excited exploring the new house. Couldn’t stop playing with the stairs. In 2 days, he already did the superman slide on the stairs. Ish ish ish… finally Amin put on the gate. Now he threw his toys (a bunch of them!) down the stairs and watched them felt at the bottom *sigh*

Ayah brought & cooked turkey for us. Had a really great & fun Thanksgiving Day! Thanks so much..

Spending some time playing fish & throwing balls with Tok Ayah.

The weekend before we went back to Msia, we went to Wichita to see Irfan. Hadn’t seen them since Raya I think.

Finally we saw them playing together. So cute!

Dallas Trip

Our trip to Dallas was totally about makannn.. Hehe.




This is kung pao chicken from Masala Wok. Very yummy. Other recommended dishes- masala butter chicken. The orange chicken is so-so.




And out of nowhere we found zabihaha kfc! Whhoaaa I'm the biggest KFC fan.









That's pretty much the highlight of the trip other than visiting the aquarium and shopping outlet. For the first time, I didn't enjoy going to outlet. I didn't feel like going into every single store to try every single thing on display. Sigh... Shopping was so lame when you didn't get to spend. Duh! We were at the outlet for several hours but it felt like forever.

So we did this instead..

















I think Irfan had the time of his life riding the STATIC rides.. Huhuh..

Here are some pics of the hotel. Its a nice 4 stars hotel.. But i wished they provided breakfast.
