Jalan Jalan - Branson, MO and Eureka Spring, AR

Dah lama betul tak update anything. I was tied up with a lot of stuff, career related and some fashion style. Huaha.. lately rasa nak ber- shawl je which is so merimaskan sebab i keep thinking and browsing shawl. The UK shawl is so stunning i should say. Susah la nak compare dgn shawl Msia since I don't see them that often. Maybe they are similar.. I don't know.

Anyway weekend baru ni pegi Branson, MO and Eureka Spring, AR. Both places are approximately 3 hrs away from our place. Been to Branson before but didn't get to experience the Branson-life so this time around we stayed there for couple of days.

Branson- Quite a happening place. A bit like mini- Vegas minus the Casinos and desert. Ade The Strip like Vegas also. Got there around 3 ish then makan donut kat Krispi Kreme kejap. Irfan sangat la active. Then went on the so-famous duck ride it's an amphibian vehicle- like riding a boat on the road then bila nampak lake terjun dgn bot2 skali hehe. It'd be helpful kalau time banjir kat Msia. Awesome expensive ride. Won't go on it again thou haha. But if you're new to Branson, I would recommend the duck ride. Petang, lepak and makan at Ihop.

Day 2 at Branson was super awesome. Zuhri main go kart in the morning. Did some shopping at the tak-seberapa Outlet. Managed to grab some make up essential with a super duper deal. Didn't know that they sell eye cream etc at outlet with $10 less! Wah now I know where to get my supplies.I bought some lovely baju for myself too no baju for Irfan this time!

BCBG Max baju is just way too cool. Love it Love it but they are quite expensive $40 each. The original price was like $180 so ok la kan. Sesekali la.
Then makan at Panera Bread. After lunch pegi House of mirror- sucks. Petang pegi Moon Shine Beach at Table Rock Lake. Watched sunset... cantik. Then makan at Italian got 10% discout from riding the duck. Quite a deal hehe. Malam main mini golf. Best jugak thou I won't do it again. Main mini golf banyak sgt org, pressure je tgh2 main kena cepat2 move to the next course.

Day 3 at Branson, went to Moonshine beach again before we left for Eureka Springs. Another lovely morning at the beach. Irfan and Zuhri mandi tu... huhu irfan was scared at first but after a while he got used to it. Still tak berani main air sangat. Air sgt jernih which is so strange since ade taik2 itik everywhere hehe. And there were some fishes swimming celah2 kaki. Marvelous. I was actually kind of geli sbb nampak taik2 itik but what the heck the closest beach is like 10-12 hrs away from Indy. This place is actually tasik je but with sand beach tu yg panggil Moonshine Beach kot. About 12 we headed to Eureka Spring.

Eureka Spring is a gorgeous little town. It has a European influenced which is so cool and classic. Rasa best sgt jalan2 mcm jalan kat europe. I've always wanted to go to europe but belum rezeki kot..mengharap jela.. sigh. Sangat best tempat ni, really want to go there again.. sebab rushing sgt baru ni. We spent only over an hour je.. kalau dapat datang balik lepak2, get a cup of coffee, window shopping ke memang menarik.
Some interesting findings:
* The town has this tall narrow stairs in between buildings that connect the streets
* Hippies Orang2 tradisional? influenced

9 Months and Counting..

Last ultrasound check up on 07/20/10:

Baby's weight was 5 lbs 4 oz.
His head was down and facing the spine (which is the right position for delivery).

When I saw my OB afterward, she checked and said that I was already 3cm dilated. But I don't think I'll be going into labor soon since the baby is still small. Hopefully another 2 weeks... (?)

And the fact that the baby is small (for Americans), I have to be on the monitor twice a week, 20 mins per session, to check the baby's heartbeats and my contractions.

This was the most boring thing.. to be hooked up on the monitor *sigh*

I met Janet 2 weeks ago when she came here to KC. I was soo bulat (and still soo soo bulat now).
I can't imagine gaining another few pounds until the delivery. I'll look like a big boat for sure :S

And thanks Janet for the perfume! Amin likes it too :)

study break~

i jz finishd my 4th block exams..huhuh i have tried my best, hopefully the results will not disappoint me... we are given 1 month 4 study break n the university exams will be on
14th of AUG(pls pry 4 me) huhu but sad thing is that i couldn't get rid off all the allergies..now strt affectng my hands n toes pulakk aihhh...hurmm i tot it was fungal infection of toes..It causes itching n rashes..but when met DR last few days, he said i may be allergic to certain object or soap or etc... haiiiiiyoooo aku nk examm laaaa...plsss2 get away from me " baddd allergist"!! huhuh =((((

Last Weekend

We went to Manhattan, KS last Saturday visiting our Msian friend, Ainul who just gave birth to a baby girl. She had a C-sect surgery, and just released from the hospital the day before.

When we arrived, her mom & younger sister were there to meet us. They came from Msia two weeks ago, and would be staying until mid-August. It was such a relieve to see Ainul walked around and in good health. I initially thought that she would be in bed resting/napping most of the time, and not in the mood to meet people. So I thought that we would stay for about an hour and then headed downtown to take photos around campus (Kansas State University).

Well.. it was totally the opposite. Ainul looked happy and vibrant, and very chatty. She wasn't really in pain from the surgery because she took pain killers. She said the only thing that was bothering her was her wobbly tummy :D And I would say that having family around her made a lot of difference. Her mom and sister were so very helpful taking care of the baby, that I thought made her less anxious and worried.

We wanted to go to their creamery ice cream shop, but they were closed on weekends.. aiyoo banyak rugi wooo..

There was a scenic area on the way to downtown Manhattan where we could see the valley around the area. Very nice!

On Sunday, we had a World Cup party at home :D Amin grilled some chicken and homemade burger, and then cooked basil fried rice. The attendee: his bff Chris :P

Yummy..!! We wanted Spain to win, and they did! Hoorayyy..!

My 26th Birthday

I was thinking about dining out on my birthday, but we got an invitation to a farewell party that night. One of our friends here in KC would go back to Msia the next day for good since the husband had finished up his Masters. It would be a shame not to meet them for the last time. Oh well..

But Amin was so nice, he bought a dozen of roses for me. He tought about buying an ice cream cake, but he couldn't find a small one. Plus we just ate ice cream for the past few days.

I (still) didn't know what I want for my birthday. Been thinking for weeks, but couldn't think of anything that I really want. So I asked Amin for a 'anything-you-can-get gift coupon' which I could claim later when I want something :D


I also received a birthday card from Msia.

I got this from Enul yesterday. I'm not sure if Enul bought this pinky blue sweater for her... or for my baby boy :O

And I just got this Baby Grooming Kit from Janet a few hours ago..

At 8 1/2 months Pregnant..

On my last OB visit, I had an ultrasound done. It was harder to see the baby's figure since he is much bigger now. But I was so glad to see him making a lot of movement, and he was already facing down (which is a normal position in the third timester).

Stress..

Lately rasa tension je. Kalau dulu tension keje tapi sekarang tension lain pulak. Hari2 rasa sakit hati.. stress betul jaga anak ni.
Tak tau la macam mana org lain jaga anak kan, nampak mcm tak susah sgt. Bila pegi rumah member tgk anak nye rilex lepak je..dengar je cakap. Si Irfan ni memang menguji kesabaran.

Bangun pagi je terus uwweeekkkk... merengek nangis. Kena pujuk... then siap2 bagi minum susu, tak nak pulak minum. On TV pun buat tak kisah, sometimes dia tgk la jugak. Tapi still merengek and nak org duduk sebelah dia. Kite pulak ni nama je housewife tapi keje bertimbun, sink tu penuh je selalu ade je something kena basuh. Tambah la stress.
So kena la duduk teman anak bujang tengok tv sambil merengek. Duduk la depan TV sejam. Lepas tu tanye la dia nak makan ape.. bagi la segala mende roti, biskut, cereal etc ..kadang2 makan la ikut mood. susu minum la sikit2.

Lepas tu ok sikit, main2 la sikit. Baru kite start nak basuh pinggan buat2 mende sikit, start la dia datang merengek2 balik. Tarik2 baju nak suruh buat something tapi dia pun tak tau ape yg dia nak. Merengek lagi... heeeekk...heeeeekkk... aku pun dah pening. Ape la nak jadi dgn budak sorang ni. Ape yg dia nak????? main tak nak, makan tak nak...

Then dah merengek nangis2, bawak la keluar jalan2 kat luar rumah. Tak nak jalan, nak berdukung je. Kite pun penat gak,.. dah sakit pinggang kena mengangkut je budak yg perasan kecik ni. Dah main kat luar pun tak nak bawak masuk balik dalam rumah. Haaa..on TV senyap sikit. Then kite start la panaskan food dia utk lunch. Tak nak makan jugak.. mmm ni dah 3-4 hai tak nak makan ni. Kalauu sehari dua takpe... haish ape la yg ko nak makan budak oiiii... stress lagi. Memang stress betul dealing dgn anak yg mcm ni. Nape la susah sgt. Nape la asyik nangis je. Baru2 ni pahamla sebab demam tapi ni demam dah baik.. nak attention sgt ke ape. Aku pun dah pening.

Ni skg dia tengah lepak tgk tv. tak nak makan, tak nak tido tak tau dia nak buat ape. tadi pun dah puas merengek. Aku dah malas nak layan, asyik nangis je lama2 dgr suara dia tu boleh jadi gile aku ni. Tengah try la jugak nak sabar tapi... kalau dah 24/7 dia menangis, jurai2 air mata, jerit2 sape la yg boleh tahan sabar.
