Countdown: Week 27

Heluu..
I've been reading some blogs of preggie women.. and I find it interesting on how they keep track of their pregnancy progress.. by blogging. So I'm thinking that I should do the same thing. I hope that he will be reading this later, the milestone of his life (err? blog ni ade lagi ke bila dia dah pandai baca?).

Let's check out what's new in week 27:
Mommy's weight: 128 lbs (58.1 kg)

Baby's weight: 2.4 lbs (according to baby counter)

Latest check up: Fri 06/27..everything went as usual. My urine has some kind of white 'thingy' in it. It's not infection but I'm lack of iron. Need to eat iron supplement. I need to take calcium supplement too, I kept having leg cramp last week, so the doc recommended more calcium.

Mommy's emotion: Mommy is feeling so so uncomfortable. Tummy stretching really hard, sakit betul. Rasa macam nak pecah perut and ribs. I couldn't do much, just hoping that it will go away. Usually when mommy is lying down, it feels much better. But I don't like to lie down too much, nanti tak buat ape and makin gemukksss...I'm reaallyyyy scared that I'm going to be a fat mommy...noooooo....
Daddy hasn't been helping much. He's so selfish nak enjoy the summer. He's been cycling etc and leaving mommy alone at home. I'm so so not happy grrr...Guys never really care. I keep telling him that he needs to read more books about pregnancy and baby. It's not an easy thing and I don't want to go thru this all by myself. The other day when we visited the doc, he asked question about colostrum!!! We just went to breastfeeding class like the week before!! Maybe he was distracted by the naked boobies kot grrrrrr......

Baby's developmenet: Baby is doing fine..at least he has been jumping and doing summersault like crazy. The movement is really strong now. It doesn't hurt yet, but I know it will soonnn...aiyak. I'm a little worried about him being lack of iron/zinc and maybe calcium. Other than that, I don't know much. People keep asking me 'how's the baby doing?'. How the hell am I suppose to know, he's in my tummy you freaking idiot.

Baby preparation: Not much. We have so many baby clothing already. So far, dah beli boppy breastfeeding pillow, supreme snuggle nest (for tido), and bed set.

Ok dah la..I think I'm done with the writing. I'm a little depressed right now. This week is supposed to be a 'vacation' week since the company is shutting down for 4th of July. But both of us keje since banyak duit dah habis time family zuhri was here. Hadoi. And we want to go to yellowstone jugak this Weds, if my health condition is permitting. I don't really care..I just want to do something fun!! I'm bored!!

I cut the first ripe peppers yesterday afternoon, almost 5 inches long. Amin was very pleased, and he asked me to cook something with it. Hmm... and I decided to cook chicken curry with these peppers for today's dinner. Will post the picture soon!

Flower & Plant Gardening

I started buying some plants last month at Lowes. Now...

Cayanne pepper: Tall and strong, 1 1/2 feet in height. There are about 10 peppers already popping out. I'm just going to wait until it turns red, then time to pluck pluck pluck.

Red bell pepper: This is the slowest one to grow. It just has a few flowers and a small bell pepper on the way.

Hot banana pepper: Amin's pokok cili. (But actually, I am the one who takes care of it :-|)

And guess what, I also found pokok cili padi at the market, just bought it last week. Here they called it Thai Dragon chili. It says on the label: 6x hotter than jalapeno!

I also planted some flowers, partly marigold aka bunga taik ayam. The rest are petunia, bought it at the clearance section, very cheap.

So here is my little garden. Cantik tak? :)

Menu of the week: Buffalo chicken wings

First, just deep fry the chicken wings, no salt/ other spices added for 15-20 mins (until golden brown).

Pat the chicken with a napkin.

Put the chicken in a tupperware and pour the sauce. We bought the sauce at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, the best chicken wings sauce in town. Then close the lid, and shake shake shake the tupperware.

Tadaa.. the delicious wild wings. Yum yum yum

Unlocked iphones!

Amin wanted to make some extra money on ebay. We bought a few iphones and tried to unlocked them.

First one for experiment..

After 15 mins running the software, it said that the iphone has unlocked. But to make sure everything's fine, we bought a Tmobile prepaid sim card to try it out.

Yayyy it really works!!! (This one is currently posted on ebay :) )

Last Weekend Highlights

Saturday morning: Amin and I went to the Tint Master workshop. Guess what.. we decided to get all of my Subiru windows tinted. For more pics, visit Amin's bloggy

Saturday afternoon: I borrowed a Pro KitchenAid stand mixer from Kak Emmy before she went back to Msia. So that afternoon, I used it to make some roti naan. So so easy... just put all the ingredients in the mixer bowl, and pressed the 'magic button'. Wait for 10 mins... wallaaa the doh's ready!

(There are a few other steps before frying the roti on a pan for 5 mins)

Ready-to-store roti naan. All 32 pieces yum yum.

Sunday afternoon: Murtabak time!

Amin showed his skills at making the doh for murtabak. (Nampak mcm makcik2 kat Msia tgh wat kuih hehehe)

The workstation :D

Me frying the murtabak on our new griddle.

The final product: murtabak daging! We managed to make 27 pieces of murtabak, 3 pieces of roti canai telur and 2 pieces of roti canai.

Next project: unlocked iphones...
