finally....thanx god!!!

after 2 weeks suffering from ear infection....(sakit wooo..) tanggal 17.12.08..saya tlh disahkn bebas infeksi telinga!!hihihi tp...kne skin infection plakk laa hai...kt dlm telinga..but i feel better right now..da x sakit2 lg...td time suck infected wax 2 ntah camne ade plakk air keluar....n air 2 mayB mmg da lame ader...huhuhu mase remove wax td mmg x sakit langsung compare dgn yg sblm2 ni.. sblm ni sampai nangis2..seriously mmg sakit sgt2...td kalo laa x ley kua gak...dr nk wut anesthasia..huhu tp alhamdullilahh sekbek da ley kua n after kua raser talinga ringan n lega sgt2..n aku rase laa wax dlm telinga aku 2 cm da lame gler jer...sbb after dier remove..telinga aku ni cm dgr kuat gler...cm dgr orng ckp pkai mic..x pnah plak dgr sekuat cm skg ni..huhu ptt laa dlu2 aku asik x dgr jer...skg aku da x pekak lg!!!hiihih =) td b4 dr remove...hihi aku da pesan ngn dr jgn buang wax 2..aku nk ngk!!hihih hurmm ni laa wax yg jahat dok dlm telinga aku!! besa gedabak!!!!!ptt la sakit....

conclusion: jagalah telinga korng n kalo mandi..better tutup lubang telinga dgn kapas!!!

Baby Irfan - 3 months old

Irfan dah 3 bulan...huhuh besar betul anak mama ni. Smlm dia kena injection ..sian Irfan nangis teruk sgt. Even hari ni pun dia still sakit, so tadi dia makan tylenol sikit.
So Irfan now dah 11 lbs 10 oz, 23" tall. He's a lil bit below avg since the avg is 13 lbs. Ala keciknye anak mama.
At 3 months old:
* Irfan dah pandai gelak2
* Dia suka hisap jari telunjuk and jari tgh tangan kiri. I think he's left handed la
* He just started to grab toys hari ni hehe
* Muka dia makin putih and siap blushing most of the time
* He started to have eye lids when he's 12 wks old
* He just to roll over too.. dah pandai turn badan ke kanan but just halfway jela
Esok balik malaysia!! Wahhh dgn baby Irfan yg 3 months 2 days old..huhuh Hopefully Irfan ok laa..

Updates

In the next few days I'll be leaving for Malaysia. Takutnyee tak tau mcm mana Irfan akan react to the long flight and also the weather kat Malaysia. Aiyaiyai..

Ok this year I made thanksgiving dinner..but didn't take any pictures sbb dah lapar sgt. By the time teringat about taking pictures, food pun dah habis. Grrr... Despite the hassle handling Irfan, kitaorg sempat jugak pegi black friday huhu but not as early as last year. This year we decided to head out at about 8:30 AM. Another keje gile was pegi Portland beli ayam without overnight. Irfan slept almost all the way. He was such an angel.

We have started sending Irfan to K nita since last week. He was a lil bit restless at first, maybe because he's having too much fun with the kids. He's much better this week. Kesian Irfan every morning bangun pukul 5 AM, then siap2 getting ready ke rumah K Nita. He's usually up by then, talking and cooing. Nasib baik la tak nangis.. hehe

I've been trying to post some videos tapi susah le file besar sgt. I'll try again later.

Auntie's last day

Yesterday was auntie's last day here in Bend, OR. Pagi2 bangun main dgn Irfan, then masak nasi lemak. After masak around 11 AM kami pun headed to Mt Bachelor. Sampai2 amik gamba kejap and main2 snow sikit, then headed back ke rumah sbb Zuhri nak kena pegi friday prayer. It was a short yet memorable trip. Tapi sedey sbb last minute terpikir nak bawak auntie main snow.. kalau tak boleh pegi the wks before.

After balik, all of us get ready makan2 then auntie kemas2 barang for one last time. Zuhri pun banyak la snap gambar auntie and Irfan. We know that she's going to miss our lil guy. Ye la..kan auntie jaga Irfan since 1 week old until 10 wks old.
Zuhri and I gave auntie a set of ralph lauren perfume and a small grandma brag book (photo album). So cute album tu..dalam tu banyak la gamba2 Irfan dgn auntie. We hope auntie likes it.

In 3 weeks, we'll meet again InsyaAllah. Kali ni jumpa di Malaysia pulak!

Baby Irfan - 2 months old

11/12/2008.. my Irfan turned 2 months old. He's so so chubby now. Kaki dia mmg cun. Body pun makin sexy ehehe.. that's mommy's boy.
I don't have any of his pictures at the moment. Sume rosak sbb my HD rosak. I hate it. I hope it can be fixed..please god all the pictures are priceless. The cost to fix ranging from $600-$1500.. gilos.

At 2 months old, Irfan:
* is approximately 11 lbs
* Still on his 3 hr eat schedule..penat betul
* Tido mlm pukul 7-8 AM
* Dah start baby talk, cooing, and gelak2. So cute!

Baby Irfan - 1 month old

Yesterday 10/12/2008 genaplah Irfan sebulan umurnye. Smlm ade gathering raya, so try la nak pakaikan Irfan baju lawa2 sket. Try2 baju, banyak jugak yg dia dah muat. Adus...anak mama dah besar panjang rupanye. He's so tembam now. Badan pun dah chubby especially paha and jari jemarinya yg chumel. Pipi mmg dah lama comel, so cute la Irfan ni.
Irfan is growing so fast. I couldn't even believe that he's 1 month old. I want him to be my 1 day old baby forever *sob* *sob*.

So at 1 month old, Irfan:
* Dah sunat at 2 wks old
* Gained approximately 3 lbs, he's 9 lbs now
* He sleeps throughout the day and tortures mama at night. Malam tak tido, bangun menyusu at 12 AM, 3:30 AM and 6:30 AM
* He knows how to smile now, and he recognizes his mommy (I think it's the smell of my milk). Everytime when I hold him, he want to latch on. Susah woo at first since his desire for milk is so so tinggi and my milk supply was so low

Sept 10 2008
I thought I would start the day like any other day, bangun dlm pukul 5 Am and getting ready for work. But I felt so tired that day cause I hardly got any sleep.. last2 ckp dgn abg malas nak gi keje, rasa tak sihat sgt and planning to come to work mid morning.

9 AM: Ingat nak siap2 pegi keje, owh rasa malas teramat sgt..huahua...and ade rasa sakit perut sikit2. So cancel la plan nak pegi keje. Last2 melepak atas katil watching 'My super ex girlfriend' from my Blackberry curve. I didn't eat anything for lunch. Rasa kenyang sgt..

3:30 PM: Start masak kuih bakar. Saje je terasa nak makan since dulu lagi. Dlm kul 4:30 PM dah siap. Abg balik je ajak abg masak roti jala. I cooked the curry, zuhri made the roti jala. Bukak puasa hari ni rasa complete sgt, mcm bukak puasa kat msia pulak, makan roti jala + kuih bakar, yummy!
That night, I felt so restless, not because of the masak2. Rasa susah nak jalan and mcm ade something tak kena. At that point, I knew that 'the big day' is getting really close...dalam hati dah terasa...it might be this weekend..

Sept 11 2008
It was 4:45 AM.. abg was getting ready to sahur. I heard him heating something in the microwave. Aaahh...it's going to be another day at work...malasnye. Dah la tak dpt tido lagi semalam, 2 nights in a row. Letih betul la..perut sakit2 and jadi keras gile the whole night. Dlm hati dah terpikir nak call in sick lagi. Hadus habis la kena marah nanti asyik tak dtg keje je. Org mesti la ingat aku ni pemalas and guna 'pregnant' as an excuse.
Tgh2 terpikir nak pegi ke tak keje...skali tiba2 terasa a very mild kick in the tummy, burstttt....tiba2 terasa banyak gile air keluar. Aku dah panic, what the heck. Don't tell my that my water just broke...NOOOOOO... air mencurah2 keluar, aku yg tgh panic terus menjerit panggil abg. Wahhhh...panic betul. Zuhri masuk dlm bilik, tanye kenapa..I told him what has happened sambil aku menangis2. I was so scared, I knew it was my water but we were totally not prepared. Crib tak siap lagi, baju baby tak basuh lagi, banyak mende tak beli lagi. Aku terus nangis gile2...Zuhri tried to calm me down. He told me to focus on my condition right now and think about the baby. Aku pun finally pulled my strength together and call doc. Doc suruh pegi hospital as soon as possible within 1-2 hrs. Aku and Zuhri pun bersiap2 la..makan, pack bag, mandi etc. Tiba2 terasa nak cherry, tp doc tak recommend and suruh pegi hospital right away.

7 AM: We headed to th hospital. I was so nervous..
Sampai hospital pukul 7 lebih, check in etc. Then terus buat medical check up, check blood pressure and dilation. Checking dilation was the worst part, sakit mcm nak mati..aku jerit2 and nangis2.

8 AM: I was 4.5 cm dilated...horror nye. So kitaorg pun disuruh check in ke bilik RM 152. The room is very nice and cozy, the nurse attached the IV connection to my left hand. sakit jugak tu. Then she told us to walk around and do some of the methods to induce labor.

11 AM: Nurse datang and checking on my progress. Dia buat lagi dilation check. Mak aiii sakit nak mati lagi. Terseksa betul la. I was 5.5 cm dilated. I wasn't sure whether it's a good or bad progress. The nurse started to talk about inducing medically (using pitocin) *tak guna punya nurse, dia nak senangkan keje dia je..sakit woo kalau induce medically without epidural*. I told her that I don't want to be induced just yet.
My contraction was good at first, but slowly decreasing. I didn't make good progress. The nurse was saying that my uterus wasn't cooperating, malas punya uterus la. So kitaorg pun try la berjalan and do some exercise mcm org gile hehe.



4 PM: My contraction was getting worse, but not too bad. Contraction ni ala2 period cramps, in my case not as bad. I could still handle it, dlm hati terpikir..tadela sakit sgt, apsal ramai org ckp sakit gile. Nurse recommended that I took epidural at that point before the contraction getting worse. I was thinking about the same thing. And I was a lil afraid it'll get worse jugak, sbb kalau nak amik epidural kena stay still bila jarum nak cucuk ke dlm spine.

4:30 PM: Contraction jadi makin teruk, so I called the nurse and told her that I want epidural NOW!
5 PM: The anesthetic came by, get everything ready and yeay I was finally pain-free!
After epidural, I was not allowed to eat or drink, just ice chips. Gile betul..I was 8 cm dilated few minutes after having the epidural.

8 ish PM: The nurse checked my opening again. Still at 8 cm..the contraction is not powerful enough to make any progress. Adoi2..So around 8 ish, I was induced with pitocin.

9 ish PM: The baby's heartbeat got really low. Kesian baby distressed sbb pitocin made the contraction stronger. The drastic changed caused the distression. We were so panicked, 4-5 nurses came in, help me to re-position, gave me oxygen and coach me throughout the whole critical phase. After few minutes, the baby and I were doing fine alhamdulillah.

10:30 PM: I started to push. The baby's head has engaged, just nak push a little further sampai crown. Push punya push (agak sakit jugak rasa contraction even tho dah pakai epidural), 12 PM mcm tu dah agak crown.

12:19 AM Sept 12 Irfan bin Zuhri pun keluar.. the nurse, Stephanie placed Irfan on my chest (without cleaning). I was so scared. He looked sooo fragile and pale, dah la lampu dim, so sangat la takut. I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth?!@%#

Afterall, it has been a blessed. Zuhri and I have gone through the whole pregnancy and birth together. Zuhri did great, he coached me through the labor. Even after Irfan lahir, dia la yg banyak take care of Irfan from changing diapers, getting crib ready, masak, etc. I won't trade him for anything. Thanks for everything abang =)
