hey big sis!!
im so fatigue...tis eveing we have a very tough training....it's less than 1 week we are going to the lion city..but im not so sure whether our team have done enuf preparation...i think we still lacking of team spirit N confidence!!yes..me myself are not so confident especially when catching the disc...few times i get the disc but most of the time i'll fumble...aaarrgghhh i really need 2 improve myself within this limited time...huhuh sometimes i felt isolated N lonely...ive no one to turn 2...u know y??coz in the evening i spend most of my time on the field...so at night i seldom go out dinner with my frens o clique..usually at night i'll just take a light meal like bread o fruits...so i can study o doing my hwk...but my frens recently become lik "ignoring me" even though i was there..luckily i still hv a vy caring family...mummy always N nver din call me...hehhe wut sentence is tat!!!hahaha n janet...thanx 4 calling me...another thing...im not so happy with my haousemt..somtimes they are so selfish n never thng of others feeling....huhuhu but i stick with my principle...always giv the best to others....hope today is better than yesterday n tomorrow is better than today.... :)

Stupid people
I went to the hospital of North Kansas City today after 4 days of pain on my stomach. It started out like a bumpy thing, and I thought mcm kena insect bite. Funny thing is, mcm mana bley kena kat perut, I barely go outside the house sbb panas, and I am 100% sure there's no insect in my house. Never seen one! But the thing is, that bumpy thing got worse, reddish, and my navel mcm dah penyik sbb bengkak huhuhu
So I went to the ER because that's the only place I can go at the hospital without an appt. The place was scary I would say, ade beberapa patients yg kena balut2 (mcm mummy), ade org tuh dia drunk ke ape, marah2 sume. I only saw this kinda thing kat TV, even when I went to the hospital at State College, I have never experienced seeing people in that kinda state. And then I remembered cik Noi mentioned about going to visit the hospital for education. (Oit noi, ko tak takut ke, aku cam dah lemah semangat je td. Aku mmg takleh jd doctor hohoho)
And since my problem is not life-threatening thing, I have to wait for like an hour or so before a physician took a look at me. Tension betul! And then when the physician came, she just looked at my stomach in a split second, and the other thing that she did was taking notes and asking me a bunch of questions! I felt like a crap, I waited for sooo long, and this person just buat bodoh.
And the last thing she did was nagging me about going to ER with a skin problem. She said I should see a family doctor instead of going to ER, because ER is for emergency thing, like if I was bleeding and I needed a stitch bla bla bla... I felt so stupid when I heard that.
Well I just moved here, and have no insurance, and I don't know what to do when this kinda thing happened. Memang rasa bodoh la. And afterward, I got 2 prescriptions, one is an antibiotic, and another one is anti inflammation thing, but I didn't buy it yet, sbb tgh bengang lg kat physician tu. (Don't worry, tomorrow I'll go to the pharmacy).
Yg tension nya, kenapa la takde sapa ckp I shouldn't go to the ER awal2 kan, because I talked to 2-3 people before that (masa check in, bagi statement sume, ape problem). Teruk betul la.. I will never go to that hospital again, stupid people!

I have nothing to complain. Life is boring. OK that's a complaint.
I was browsing thru friendster, came across this profile that I just added to my friend's list. I don't even know her. She keep adding me even though I have rejected her few times..so nak tak nak add jela. Reading her blog made me sad, syahdu. She had a younger brother, I think he was Enol's age when he died. He was born in 86, died in 2005.
In the blog, this friend of mine mencurahkan perasaan, how she misses her brother so much, how she cares and loves him. The brother died 3 days before raya..she didn't metion the cause, but I can tell he died from accident.
So sad, I couldnt imagine how I would react if something happens to my family, especially when we have been apart for quite a while. Each passing day, I pray for my family's health and wealth..keep hoping to celebrate the next raya together again. Tu la sape suruh tak balik Msia kan..

TriCity, Washington
We went to TriCity, Washigton on Friday, right after work. The three of us, me, hubby and a friend went there to see this abang who's moving to India soon. I have known abg Nan for about 2 yrs, he's been working the States for 12 whole yrs!
On Saturday, we went on a $33,000 boat. Abg Nan's friend own it. Cool boat...love the ride. Funny thing happened when I was on the boat. Boat tu tarik tubing, so I kept taking pictures of the people yg tgh naik tubing. Boat tu punya la laju...plus the super windy day...habis la tercabut tudung. hahah...tudung hilang in the sea...couldn't find it. So i have to settle with serkup+ cap je. Tension tension.
More tense on Sunday, when we were about ready to leave the house for tour at TriCity. We realized that someone broke into the car. We didnt drive our car, it was fizul's car. He didn't lock the car the night before, lupa. He lost his 1- month old ipod, MP3 Player, jeans, wallet, and some cash. I lost my ipod transmitter and GPS charger. WARGH...tension. Even though I got those two stuff for free..they will cost me at least $70-80 for both kalau nak beli. haishhh...nape la si fizul tu tak kunci pintu.
Afterall the visit was superb..love the food that K Mas masak. Will miss their company later definitely.

Ethnic Festival 2007 in Kansas City
Yesterday Amin and I went to the Ethnic Festival at the Swope Park here in KC. I looked on the Internet the night before, and I found out that the festival is a huge one. There were about 50 participating groups that represent their countries. The activities: on-stage performances, booths for displaying the stuffs from your country, and gerai that sold traditional foods. Sounds exciting?
We got there around 3.30 pm, and it was the time for Malaysian performance. Actually the reason why we went there is to meet other Malaysians (because we have met only a few Msian families since we moved here). But unfortunately the performance was a little bit disappointing and we didn't really meet any Msian families!
There were 4 performances - tarian sarawak, tarian payung, ulik mayang and modern indian dance. Surprise.. suprise.. there were only 4-5 people who joined the performance (including one American guy). And each performance, only 2 people on the stage! So, there were nothing fancy, and I obviously got bored easily ahahahaha.
Tarian sarawak. Menari sorang2. Weird.
Tarian payung, MC kata this kinda dance is performed during the wedding ceremony. Err confusing. I never knew that!
After that, we just walked around the park to see the booths. Anyway, Msian booth was too small, and there was nothing much that they put on the display. Yg lagi pelik, there were 3 American kids who were in charge of the booth when we got there. We were like, ooppss kami silap booth ke???? And about the Msian gerai makanan, there were Chinese (Msian kot) and Americans who were selling the food. Pelik.. pelik...
Gerai jual mknan. Menu: satay, nasi goreng, mee goreng. We didn't buy any, sbb satay tu bukan daging zabihah. And nasi goreng & mee goreng... too common, sendiri bley buat.
Actually, we met one Malay family with 3 kids, but they are from Kansas. They were there before we came, but they said that we were the first Malay family yg diaorg jumpe so far kat festival tu. Pelik kan?
After the festival, we visited Kak Emmy's family (diaorg yg banyak tlg kami masa before & after pindah ke KC). They didn't go to the festival anyways. Korek punya korek sok sek sok sek bergossip... terjawablah segala persoalan. So they said mmg ramai family Malaysian yg tak involve sangat dgn activity2 mcm ni. Too much politics ( I don't really get what she meant, but I think it's about the person yg handle Msian nyer representation, dia tu anak Datuk). Susah jugak la nak ckp mcm mana, because I am still new to this place, and I don't want to be too prejudice.
Skarang teringat masa2 kat Penn State. At least masa kitaorg handle Msian nite, sume org involve, buat performance bersungguh2. Lagi fancy, and much more organized. Nobody cares about politics... bak kata pepatah la kan, bersatu kita teguh, bercerai kita roboh.

Salam dari Kansas City
Hello everybody, I just got my Internet cable wired at my house today. I know everybody miss me so much hehehe, so I'm back! Anyway, the moving process is very tiring. Kalu nak baca pasal trip kitaorg, visit ayah Amin nyer bloggy: wahianwar. blogspot.com. He got lotsa pictures on his blog, I on the other hand, didn't have much. And I don't want to talk much bout it, sbb skarang mcm nak muntah2 jugak la. Hehehe, asyik kemas2 barang je, dah tak larat.
So, about our duplex, tak amik gambar lagi, because there's nothing in the house yet. We went to the furniture store two days ago, looky2 at the furniture. But everything is so expensive. If we want to buy a sofa, dining table and bed all together (even yg paling murah pun), it will cost us more than $1,000. Since we do not have much money, we were thinking bout renting the furniture. So kitaorg pegi la satu kedai ni, Rent-A-Center, pastu when we ask the guy how's the payment method, he told us to look around and see if we like any. Then after we select the furniture he will tell us more. So we spent like more than an hour debating which furniture to take, pastu bile dah decide sume, that guy asked us to fill an agreement form. Mak aiii, bile tgk form tu, banyak la pulak soklannya, tanya pasal employer, landlord, parents, etc. Then we realized that we won't get the deal because they need lotsa background checkout, and Amin is not working yet. Rasa mcm bodoh jugak la kat kedai tu. Hahaha... then we just left the store.
Pk punya pk, we just decided to buy a futon so bley jd sofa and bed. So mlm tu pegi la beli futon kat walmart. Satu keje jugak kena assemble futon tu pulak. So satu mlm la kitaorg dok bertukang.
We bought the futon for $190. Good buy!
We also bought a TV stand. There was no display of the TV stand at Walmart. So we just looked at the picture on the box and decided to buy it, since it says that the TV stand fit most 27" TV (our TV is 27" by the way). So balik rumah bile dah assemble, nampak rendah la pulak TV tu atas stand. It's like, when we sit on the futon, we have to look down to watch TV. Kinda weird tgk TV mcm tu.
Since we have assembled this thing, tak boley la return balik. And Amin broke some screws masa tgh assemble hehehe. Bile tgk2 nampak hodoh jugak la kan. Dah la TV tu nampak tersepit dlm ruang yg kecik huhuhu.
So Amin said he wanted to modify the TV stand. Dia nak potong some parts so that he can use it to raise the TV level. So td ptg Amin jd la tukang kayu. Dia potong2, ketuk2, pastu pasang balik. Hehehe kesian jugak la dia because it is the first time dia jd tukang kayu (selama ni kan dia repair2 computer aje).
So here's the modified TV stand. It's not that perfect actually, sbb Amin ade potong kayu senget2 hehehe. Pastu nampak la ade gap between kayu. But overall, it's a good job for a novice tukang kayu =D
Anyway, puas hati jugak la dpt modify. Nampak TV kitaorg besar dan tak tersepit. Hehehe, mesti korang pelik kan kenapa la kitaorg semangat2 pasal TV ni. Actuallynya esok kitaorg akan dpt TV cable, so Amin ckp dia nak siapkan TV ngan stereo home theater sume hari ni. Tomorrow after the TV cable has been installed, we can just watch TV all day long :)

Gem's trip to KC
Big thanks to amin's dad. Looking at the pictures posted at his blog makes me feel like I'm part of the move-to-KC-trip.
I've missed a big chunk of gem, meng and nya's metarmorphosis process - nya growing up, gem's wedding and more to come.. sigh
